Ladies & Gentlemen,
It is a great honor and privilege to welcome you here tonight, to celebrate together the opening of the Honorary Consulate General of Montenegro in Lebanon.
Please allow me to welcome, on this special occasion, the Montenegrin officials:
Director of Consular Department Mr. Zeljko Stamatovic – Vice Minister of Foreign Affair
H.E. Dr. Miomir Mugosa – Governor of Podgorica Capital Of Montenegro
Mr. Damir Davidivic – Head of the Governor’s Office
They have arrived directly from Montenegro today, to attend this celebration, despite their many engagements back home and they will be leaving unfortunately straight after this event back to Montenegro.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I am very pleased to have you present here with us tonight and to be able to share with you my vision of what the Lebanese – Montenegrin relation really means for the future benefits of our two countries.
I sincerely hope for most of our guests, associates and friends present here tonight, And who have never been to Montenegro, to have the chance to visit Montenegro in the near future in order to discover the amazing beauty of this country and the many, many opportunities and potentials available there and to eventually develop excellent relations between our two people and countries on an economic, touristic, cultural and social level.
While in Montenegro, I have seen the beauty of our country in theirs and above all felt the emotion of a home away from home.
Lebanon and Montenegro are similar in nature, culture and in the kindness and hospitality of the people.
As Lebanon is the main gate for the Middle East, so is Montenegro for the Balkans.
Ladies and Gentlemen, let us celebrate tonight our future achievements. Prepare to meet the challenges ahead of us and consolidate the warm, friendly and mutually beneficial relations between our two countries and people. A relation that is based on real values. The values of respect and trust.
My dear friends, the Honorary Consulate General of Montenegro in Lebanon is officially opened.
